TRAVELLING TO ELCHE

Elche/Elx, located in southeastern Spain, is a charming tourist destination of the Comunitat Valenciana known for its rich history and stunning landscapes. Elche offers visitors the opportunity to explore the largest palm tree orchard in Europe and admire over 200,000 palm trees. BY CAR

You can reach Elche by taking the A-7/E-15 highway if you are coming from north or south. The A-31/E-903 motorway, which connects Alicante with Madrid, is another way to reach Elche by car from the west.

BY TRAIN

Elche is located at the mid-point on the regional train line C-1 that connects Alicante and Murcia. The nearest stop to the Symposium venue is Elx-Parc (Elche-Parque). This service departs approximately every 30 minutes during the week and every hour on weekends and holidays. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes to Alicante and 55 minutes to Murcia.

The AVE offers a direct connection between Madrid and Elche in over 2 hours. The high-speed train station (ELX AV) is located 6 Km from downtown; several bus lines (251A, 253, L5, R4) have stops near the station.

BY PLANE

Alicante-Elche-Miguel Hernández Airport (ALC) is located just 15 minutes from Elche. The airport is easily accessible via an efficient intercity bus network and 24-hour taxi service.
